It’s a proven fact that people are more receptive to hearing the Gospel once their immediate physical needs are met. So, when you offer someone food, clean water, or clothes, you not only help save a life and give physical help for today … you also give eternal hope by introducing that person to the love of Jesus Christ.
We opened our Community Kitchen on July 28th, 2021 and are committed to offering the community food 2-3 days a week. Our Community Kitchen has become a gathering place for the community and we would like to make it feel like "home.” There are several construction projects left to do on site which we could only do with your support.

Construction Update
Our Kitchen is NOW OPEN! We serve the community on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays.
Back in April 2020, the villages were severally effected by the shutdown. Little work available turned into no work, which meant being able to eat for at least a couple weeks turned into not being sure when they would be able to eat again.
People in the villages began putting white flags outside of their homes, flags made of cloths or shirts, signifying their need for help. Imagine asking for help in a community that was in the same situation. People were desperate and felt hopeless.
We began our food bag outreach as soon as we caught word of the need. Week after week we distributed bags to 10-12 households. In total, to date, we have donated to 150 homes.
As we went door to door, we heard many stories of extreme famine and even death. We once helped buried a little girl. It was this point that we felt we had to do more.
Our prayer was and always had been for God to show us what’s next… we believe He answered us.
We were gifted a piece of land in a village called “El Oasis” that is in the epicenter of extreme poverty. Shortly after, we received the vision to build what would become a community kitchen.
Our Community Kitchen will become a place where people can come daily, have a hot meal, and enjoy community. Our hope is to begin with breakfast (one meal a day) six days a week (closed on Sunday). We believe when you nourish a community physically and spiritually, people will begin to thrive!
We opened our kitchen on July 28th, 2020! We need $1,000 monthly to feed the community and pay workers. Yes! We are also creating jobs. We currently have 4 cooks, 1 kitchen manager, and a project manager. None of this is possible without the support of generous donors.
Thank you for reading and we hope you consider joining our mission today.
